He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman.
He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.

About

Carlo v.d. Broeck

Born in Belgium and trained in Florence, the heart of leather and leather craft in Italy.

Carlo got introduced to quality finished leather products working for Crockett and Jones the Shoemaker in London.

Being surrounded by shoes and seeing how they were made sparked his interest in working with leather. After completing a leather tanning course, he realised he wanted to create finished products instead. Rather than concentrate on shoes, Carlo decided to pursue small to medium leather goods.
